Reverse Confetti - SFYTT # 39 & CTD # 406...Welcome, Little One...

Hello stampin' friends! I made a little time to get crafty this weekend to make a special baby card with my  Reverse Confetti - Lift Me Up stamp set...I went looking for a little crafty inspiration and used the great Sketch For You to Try # 39 that they have this month over on the Reverse Confetti blog and I used the pretty colour combo from the The Color Throwdown # 406.
I flipped the sketch and used the tiny banner from the Gift Card Holder Tag Confetti Cuts to create the triangle called for in the sketch

I used MFT Heavyweight Card Stock in Pink Lemonade, Sour Apple, Orange Fizz and Primitive White

The little giraffe from the Reverse Confetti Lift Me Up stamp set is SO sweet and I thought she would look especially cute coloured up with my Copics in pink and orange. I coloured up a few little feathered friends from the Lift Me Up Stamp set too. I had to use some of my NEW Reverse Confetti goodies too...I LOVE the NEW All Framed Up Confetti Cuts...it cuts beautifully and I adore the different stitching detail...you will be seeing a lot of it....LOVE!

I made the watercolour paper using the "Smooshing Technique" with Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Cardstock and Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Worn Lipstick, Ripe Persimmon, Peacock Feathers, Shabby Shutters and Peeled Paint.

The Circle panel is made with the Scalloped Circle Confetti Cuts and MFT STAX Stitched Circles and STAX Circle Die-namics. I stamped the sweet sentiment from the RC Bear Hugs Stamp set and cut the tiny banner from RC Gift Card Holder Tag Confetti Cuts.  I embellished by tying a hemp twine bow around the stitched fishtail flag and adding a sprinkling of pretty sparkly YNS Gumdrops

And as always, I finished the inside of the card. I used the sweet sentiment from the RC With Love Stamp set. I made a personalized name tag with the little tag from MFT Blueprints 2 Die-namics and the MFT Typewriter Alphabet Stamp set.

Thanks SO much for stopping by and havin' a wee peek at my card with the super sweet Reverse Confetti Lift Me Up Stamp set and Confetti Cuts for the Reverse Confetti SFYTT # 39 and the CTD # 406!

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Hello Flamingo

Hello stampin' friends! It is time for the August 15 - Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Flamingo and all the details and the link-up are over on the CCIC blog! Hope you can join the FUN Flamingo challenge...it gave me the perfect reason to ink up my Fabulous Flamingos from Reverse Confetti with some fabulous Reverse Confetti Confetti Cuts.

I used MFT Heavyweight Card Stock in Black Licorice and Razzle Berry with Razzle Berry, Cotton Candy, Black Licorice and Blu Raspberrry Premium Dye Ink. I also used Tim Holtz Distress Woodgrain Watercolor paper.

I wanted to try the "new-to-me"  Smooshing Watercolour Background technique for this card and I'm SO happy I did...LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!  I also used the "reverse watercolour" technique for the leaves and the flowers, which is basically, strategically cutting them from watercoloured paper that I smooshed up ;)

So, taking inspiration from the phone case, pretty wallet and flamingo pool floaty in the inspirational photo I used the Insta-Frame Confetti Cuts as the main panel for this card and popped a couple cute flamingo friends up on the Blu Raspberry watercoloured panel from the Fabulous Flamingos Stamp set and coordinating Confetti Cuts. I also added a few flowers with pretty leaves cut with the Flowers for Mom Confetti Cuts and Leafy Confetti Cuts.

I cut the Hello Confetti Cuts from Black Licorice Heavyweight Cardstock several times and layered them for added dimension.  I embellished with some Hemp Twine and Your Next Stamp Gumdrops. I tucked two little fishtail flags under the side of the Insta-Frame that were leftover die cut pieces from the Double Banner Garland Confetti Cuts that I used on my last card, Unicorn Wishes.

As per usual, I finished off the inside of the card with a few more flamingos and an embossed  sentiment from the Fabulous Flamingos Stamp set on Black Licorice Heavyweight Cardstock cut with the Stitched Flag Trio Confetti Cuts.

Thanks SO much for stopping by and havin' a little look at my Reverse Confetti Fabulous Flamingos card for the August 15 - Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Flamingo! Looking forward to seeing all your FAB flamingo creations.

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - July 15 - Unicorn Wishes

Hello stampin' friends! Time for a NEW Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Unicorn - all the details and link-up are over at the Curtain Call! I ADORE the inspirational photo that we have and as soon as I set my eyes on this sweet unicorn and the banner, I knew I had to use my Reverse Confetti Unicorn Wishes and Double Banner Garland Confetti Cuts.

Oh and before you run off to check out all the inspiration the crew has to share I want to give a special shout-out to Tammy Hurshburger at Stamp Happy ! She is joining the Curtain Call Crew and we couldn't be more thrilled to have her join us....she is SOOOOO super talented and such a sweetie!

The LEAD of this challenge will be invited to be a guest designer in an upcoming challenge!

Please welcome our newest Guest Designer,

Anni Lerche, Annikarten

I used MFT Heavyweight Cardstock in Black Licorice and Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Cardstock!

I wanted a soft feel in keeping with the inspirational photo so I did a little "reverse water-colouring" as I like to call it. I made some water-coloured patterned paper with my Peerless Watercolors and set it aside to dry, when dry, I strategically stamped on the watercoloured paper to get the desired colour and effect with the Unicorn Wishes and Weather It Together stamps, then cut the images out with the coordinating Unicorn Wishes and Weather It Together Confetti Cuts.

I used the Love Note Confetti Cuts, cut from water-coloured paper, as the "home" for all the stamped and die-cut elements and created a little scene. I stamped a sentiment from the Unicorn Wishes on a flag and tucked it under the cute little unicorn. I wrapped the panel from the Class Act Confetti Cuts with hemp twine tied a bow and sprinkled around some pretty pink sparkly YNS GumDrops.  I thought my card should sparkle just a bit so I pulled out my hand-dandy Sakura Gelly Roll Stardust pens in clear and yellow...unfortunately,  it doesn't show up in the pics.

I finished off the inside of the card too...stamping another sentiment from the Unicorn Wishes stamp set on the small tag from the Tag Me Confetti Cuts and adding a few left over "reverse watercoloured" stamped images and dies.
